2+a/4=-1 ??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a = -12

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you explain to me how you solve it.. Cuz I don't understand this at all :L

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a/4=-1-2 a/4=-3 a=(-3)(4) a=-12

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you get it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its alright... I got lots of more problems and They're too complicated for me. Thanks anyways:)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2+a/4=-1 when you bring across the 2 over the = sign, the positive 2 will turn to a negative 2 because whenever you cross an addition or subtraction over the equal sign it changes to the opposite function

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then when you bring over the 4 you just do the opposite function, but you do not switch it from positive to negative
