how do i solve this? (x+1/x-3) - (x+1/x-3)^2 -2???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

taking the lcm & solving the first two terms gives us -4(x+1)/((x-3)^2) now subtracting 2 from this gives us \[(-2x ^{2}+8x-22)/(x-3)^{2}\]
