State the advantage and disadvantages of using gene therapy to supply insulin as compared to injection of insulin at a certain time interval.

Well it would mean that diabetics would't have to inject insulin every day and co-ordinate their meals around their insulin etc. the body would produce its own insulin at appropriate times and so there would be no risk of hypoglycaemia. There are really no cons, except that we cant do it yet.
