determine the domain, range, and horizontal asymptotes f(x)=(5/2)^-x +4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1/(2.5^x) + 4 so 2.5^x can never be zero so domain - (-infinity,infinity) range : notice that when x -> infinity the function approaches 4 and when x -> -infinity the function approaches infinity so range (4,infinity) horizontal asymptotes : you ask your self what happens when the function goes to infinity,-infinity so you have y=4
