Ok I need help on the final step on this problem I got it into this form and then x'=(y'x-9y^(2)y')/(6x^(2)-y), I plug in the values x=1/5, y=1/5, y'=6 and I didn't one of the answers choices

the problem is on the attachment

I got -24 as my result

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what how did you get -24 can you draw it or something so I can see

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x' = (y'x-9y^(2)y')/(6x^(2)-y) (I had the same derivative you had) x'=((6)(1/5)-9(1/5)^(2)(6))/(6(1/5)^(2)-(1/5)) x' = ((6/5)-9(1/25)(6))/(6(1/25)-(1/5)) x' = ((6/5)-(54/25))/((6/25)-(1/5)) x' = ((30/25)-(54/25))/((6/25)-(5/25)) x' = (-24/25)/(1/25) x' = -24 (I'd say you made a mistake in the simplification, maybe forgot to square something)

yep I did thanks again
