Rome vs. India

OpenStudy (anonymous):

both the places are places of diversities and beauty,so rome=india.

Both have a long history, both have produced great military generals, both birthed culture still seen today, both are centers for a religion, both conquered vast swaths of land.

I could only assume the original writer was talking about Ancient India and Rome vs modern India and Ancient Rome. Try reading up on the formation and the expansion of the Mauryan Empire [which stretched from Pakistan to the Bay of Bengal] then you have the Kushan empire which stretched from Afghanistan, Pakistan, and into central India.
