Hehe interesting fact you say? Here's one :) Not all cells have one nuclei, the paramecium have two nuclei, slime mould has millions of nuclei and the mature human red blood cells doesn't even have one.
The nucleus is a dense spherical structure present in the cytoplasm. It contains the genes that have information for protein synthesis. It contains a dense network of thread like structures called chromatin reticulum. These thread like structures join together to form rod like bodies during cell division called chromosomes. The number of chromosomes in all species is fixed and in humans it is46 or 23 pairs. These chromosomes contain all your characteristic traits.
