What is the vertex, axis, domain and range of: f(x) = x(squared) +2?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Vertex: (0,2) Axis: x=0 (This graph is also symmetric about the y-axis, so we say it is an "even function" Domain: All real numbers (Since there are no "bad numbers" that can be plugged in Range: x^2 is zero at its smallest, 2 is always 2, Hence the smallest x^2+2 will ever be is 2. It can be as large as you want to make it. Hence the range is [2,Infinity)
