What impact would an overall warmer climate have on humans? http://www.ec.gc.ca/scitech/default.asp?lang=En&n=2A953C90-1&offset=5&toc=show#E.2
In my opinion, a major impact will be on the world's food system. There are 32 billion meals (approx) eaten everyday, and with a warmer climate, more areas will experience drought and famine. Land could also be lost to sea level rise and salinization (when we use so much ground water that salt water starts to creep in). A warmer climate will also mean a decrease in biodiversity, since only the most resilient species will be able to survive such quick change.
An overall warmer climate will make things difficult for people who live in colder regions and whose skin anatomy is not adapted for a warmer climate to survive, thereby reducing the human population.
