Question

Besides a biomedical engineering degree, unavailable to me, unfortunately :-(, what is the most relevant Engineering degree for a person to pursue while still in university, a person who wishes to become a medical student after about 5 years in an engineering career?

I can't afford one of those pre-med programs, so I've chosen to get an engineering degree.

are classes at your university more affordable? if yes, then major in any engineering degree you want. then in addition, take the premed courses that most med schools require for admission.
