Distance/Time/Rate: A train averaging 50 mph leaves San Francisco at 1P.M. for Los Angles 440 miles away. At the same time a second train leaves Los Angles headed for San Francisco on the same track and traveling at an average rate of 60 mph. At what time does the accident occur? Please show steps and solution to how you got the answers :)

50+60=110 440/110=4, so the poor trains will hit 4 hours later. That means they will hit at 5 p.m.
