What is the history of the universe/world, before humanity?

Well what we do know is Humans didn't make their appearance till the Middle Paleolithic Era 300 thousand years ago, the earth is believed to be about 4 billion years ago. Between the formation of the earth and this span of time Flora, Fauna, and Bacteria where formed and they lived, procreated, and died. Some of these didn't procreate well enough and went extinct and others evolved so that they wouldn't.
