multiply 6^12*6^17 would the answer be 12^5
\[6^{12}*6^{17}\] \[6^{12+17}\] \[6^{29}\]
What kushashwa said is right. In multiplication, powers add up. In division, they subtract. Top from bottom.
thanks unbreak ...... well u gave a good explanation
Sorry I only meant to help him out, not steal any medal or anything else. I'm new to the site, so I don't know what medals etc do.
oh no problem @unbreak medals are given to the persons who give good answers by other people here . if u get medals ur level of maths would increase . that is u r now neophyte soon with 5-6 medals u would become lifesaver and then so on ..
Oh ok. How do others gain medals? like what if everyone just gave the medals to someone else, and that guy doesn't give to others.
yes it some time happens .... but best of luck for ur future in open study
Ah ok. Thanks for the info :D
