Write an expression in simplest form for the volume of a box with a length of 5ab, a width of 3a, and a height of 2ab.

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

Volume = Length*Width*Height V = LWH V = (5ab)*(3a)*(2ab) V = 30a^3b^2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

5ab*3a*2ab = 30a^3b^2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Just multiply them all together because the volume of a cube is widthXlengthXheight:\[V=5ab \times 3a \times 2ab = 30a^{3}b^{2}\]
