why RNA have a less lifespan than DNA???????

OpenStudy (anonymous):

because dna is more table than rna as there is no attaching site mean Oxygen is absent

it is a bit of teleology, but DNA's main purpose is fidelity. it is constructed and maintained in that purpose through several mechanism: the two strands are able to maintain information even when one is broken multiple correction mechanisms exist. base excision repair (BER) is one of thouse, there is at least one more ( i think two ) but this is not my specialty.
