what happens to an electrons KINETIC ENERGY when it appraches the negetive end of a dipole(electron starts from infinity, dipole is placed at origin) plz explain in detail............

When the electron is approaching the -ve end of the dipole it gradually looses its kinetic energy, and that lost kinetic energy will be stored in the form of potential energy. however it all depends on the spatial orientation and approach of the electron
