If you were to use the substitution method to solve the following system, choose the new system of equations that would result if x was isolated in the second equation. 5x – 2y – z = 16 x + y + 4z = 6 3x + 2y + 6z = 16

OpenStudy (experimentx):

isolate x form eq1 and two, equate them then you get equation in interns of y and z. again do the same thing from eq2 and eq3 you will have another set of equation in y and z. solve them, you will have y and z, then you will have x form any of these equations.
