Your name inspired me. A cartoon picture of a couple of sheep looking confused, annoyed, vexed, some with only half a body, whatever, with this caption:
"If 12 legs means three sheep, why do some people think 8 legs + 4 legs equals 1 1/2 sheep?"

You could also mix it up with other animals, maybe make more than one post:

Two cats eyeing two birds in a bush:

"Why some people think 2 cats and 2 birds are just 2 animals?"
