what dose hypotonic mean?

in the sense of cells (isotonicity) more water inside the gradient then outside the gradient. 'inflates' the cells. hypertonic means more h2o on the outside of osmotic pressure gradient. isotonic means even on both sides of the gradient

hypo tonic means when the concentaration i high inside the cell than the solution as in omosis is it moves higher concentration to lower so the cytoplam move out which results cell shrink
