The question I was given to do my speech on was "What economical and political development in Italy provided the setting for the Renaissance?"

So which one sounds better for my thesis:
Economical and Political Developments during the Italian Renaissance
OR
Economic and Political Developments in Italy during the Renaissance

Or do you know one that would work better?
