a worked diamond is more brilliant than glass or anything else that is known.
the atoms in a diamond built a kristalline struktur while glass is far from having kristalline structures or properties. and due to this kristalline structure the incoming light is refracted more often and make a diamond more sparkel than a equally worked glass would do
