how the earthworm makes burrow???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Earthworms make burrows by eating through the mud and also excreting simultaneously to maintain proper balance. The excretions are rich in plant nutrients and that is why earthworms are called friends of farmers.

u know earthworm swallow the mud and always make burrow of a depth 15-16 feet so it can easily go in and out from same path due to this dept the minerals which were embeded in earth get easily sucked by root which ultimately help farmers a lot so they called them friends of farmers
