If (t-2)^2 = 0, what is the value of (t+3)(t+6)? I dont know how to solve it and what the answer is.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

solve for t first. t must be equal to 2. then substitute into (t+3)(t+6)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(2 +3) (2 +6) = 40

Ohhh, okay, thanks, that makes a bunch of sense now...I just didn't realize that t equaled 2...but I guess I had to see it in order to understand it. Thanks a bunch! :)
