Some women are held to lower positions, lower pay, and restricted opportunities of land ownership or restrictions to enter businesses or start them. But not all's bad as there's something called the Grameen Bank (an excellent project) that allows women (mainly in Asia) to get up on their own two feet and get a deposit to start a business. They'll then earn money and pay it back to the Grameen Bank. Pretty epic, huh.
