Solve 2(x-1)/3 = 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

X = 4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I got x=1 :S How did you work it out?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Multiply both sides by 3, then divide both ides by 2, and add 1 to the other side.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[2(x-1)=3*2\] \[2(x-1)=6\] \[(x-1)=6/2\] \[(x-1)=3\] \[x=3+1\] \[x=4\]

Oh, haha. I made a silly mistake. Thanks!!
