Radical function: domain=[0,infinity) , range=[0,infinity) continuosly rising, slope is steep initially, then flattens out Logarithmic: domain=(0,infinity) , range=(-infinity,infinity) vertical asymptote : x->0 ; y->-infinity , intersects the x-axis continuosly rising, slope is steep initially, then flattens out
