Not necessarily, but if u are good in maths you will find the numerical problems easy to solve.

Physics is, in my opinion, Math with a certain meaning. So if you find Math easy, you will be able to get the numbers, but you may not necessarily find Physics easy if you are unable to interpret and see beyond those numbers and formulae.

There are many kinds of applied Math, I guess.... Economics, Physics, Engineering etc.
