OpenStudy (trancenova):

Weeell "secondary succession is a process started by an event (e.g. forest fire, harvesting, hurricane) that reduces an already established ecosystem" and "Primary succession is one of two types of biological and ecological succession of plant life, occurring in an environment in which new substrate devoid of vegetation and usually lacking soil" (wikipedia) So question 1 is flooded areas, 2. is pioneer species ("Pioneer species are species which colonize previously uncolonized land") 3. all of the above :)
