cos inverse of (cos(-(pi)/(6))

OpenStudy (kira_yamato):

± π / 6

OpenStudy (kira_yamato):

Of course there're more

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how do you find it though?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sqrt[3]/2

OpenStudy (kira_yamato):

The cos inverse and cos will "cancel" each other out, leaving the -π/6. Also, since cos(-A) = cos A, it can also be π/6. There are many more depending on your domain.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what if it is sec(sin^-1(-(2)/(5))) ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

5/sqrt(21)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats not an option on my test
