Choose the equation that could be used to find three consecutive integers whose sum is 72. n + (n + 2) + (n + 4) = 72 n + (n + 1) + (n + 3) = 72 n + (n − 1) + (n − 3) = 72 n + (n + 1) + (n + 2) = 72

In order for the integers to be consectutive, we have to choose the last option. If I choose a random number for n, say, 22, then we get 22 + (22 + 1) + (22 + 2) 22 + 23 + 24 Ta-da, they are consecutive.
