It allows you to understand rules in society and MOST educated people don't get in trouble with the law. Its just a fact.

By being educated such as getting a degree you would have gained the experience in dealing with rules of the classes and social skills. The bad, education can product people in society, who knows the rules, and disregard the rules of society for their own profit.  Also education doesn’t have to involve schools or class rooms, but the social skills, from this is highly needed in this day in age.
