find LCM x^3+6x^2+9x,x^2-6x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

on this one would i have to factor 2,9x+6x seperately

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

Same as before, factor first: x^3+6x^2+9x AND x^2 - 6x x (x+3)(x+3) AND x(x-6)

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

now, x(x+3)(x+3)(x-6)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the first part would be (x-3)(x+3)(x+6) right?

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

No, we factored both seperately.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i still got it wrong im trying to do another problem like this on my own so far i get half it right

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

you are actually messing up two parts into one.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh my god i got it the problem was s^3+4s^2+4s,s^2-4s which the answer was x,x+2^2,-4
