Let vector A=(1,2,3) and vector B=(3,4,5) be points in R^3. O denotes the origion, (0,0,0). Determine the vectors OA, OB and AB. And then express AB in terms of OA and OB. How do I go about doing this?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

let vectors be points?

OpenStudy (jamesj):

Between any two points P and Q, the vector PQ is defined to be Q - P So apply that rule these three points and you'll see the answer is quite easy.

Sorry, I didn't mean to write vectors in front of those letters. They're just points.
