OpenStudy (phi):

The highest power of f(x) determines the number of roots (where f(x)=0). For example f(x)= x^3 will have 3 roots. When you take the derivative f'(x) will go down a power. so f'(x) will have 2 roots. and f''(x) will have only 1 root.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so its neither A or B

OpenStudy (phi):

I repeat, and f''(x) will have only 1 root.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh, so its actually just A

OpenStudy (phi):

yes
