Based on the conditions of early Earth, what conclusion can you draw about the amount of anaerobic respiration that was occurring at Earth’s beginning?
not much of an atmosphere or oxygen present, so high amounts of anaerobic respiration
depends on how early, their probably wasn't much respiration of any kind going on
at the beginning, there wasn't much of anaerobic living things present, so there wasn't a lot of anaerobic respiration i guess. its only after the appearance of living things then comes the respiration itself
In the beginning there were only very small particles such as bacteria. In order for these to evolve and prosper they needed a form of respiration. Most of these bacteria were living underground or deep underwater in locations where there were very low levels of O2, so they evolved to use anaerobic respiration.
There wouldn't have been much oxygen present at that time. So you can definitely conclude that levels of anaerobic respiration would have been much higher than today.
