how do i simplify x^2-8+15over x^2-4x-5

if your missing an "x" id say try to factor top and bottom to see what they have in common that can cancel out

if i see it right, they cancel an x-5 and your left with +3 on top and +1 on the bottom

errr.... -3 up top since -3-5 = -8
