How do you determine the length of a period of y=3sin(x)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its just 2pi. the 3 just streches the y values by a scalar of 3, making a "taller" sin graph, but te period is how long in radians one full rotation of the unit circle takes, that is one fullcurve, up and down, takes if u know what i mean. So the period of sinx is 2pi. If it was sin 2x, period would be pi because you race through the degrees twice as fast
