These are the instructions..

Graph each of the functions. At least one of the functions should be graphed by hand and at least one of the functions should be graphed using graphing technology like GeoGebra. For the function(s) that is (are) graphed by hand, please show your work and upload a scanned document with the tables and graph into the assessment.

To submit the picture of a graph in GeoGebra, go to the "File" menu at the top of the screen. Select "Export", "Graphics View to Clipboard", and then paste the image into your document file.

Alright it's a piece-wise defined function.For example f(x) = |x|,you can read about it more here : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Piecewise

Now coming to the graphing part using hand,I guess calculus is not allowed,so you have to use your Pre-calculus skills for solving this one and I think it is not that difficult since you have to just guess and easy point.after that try to get an idea about the end points using limits .. Good luck!

Pre-calculas means everything you are learning and would learn in algebra, trignometry,geometry,combinatorics (to some extent) :)
