not the left descending aorta but the left anterior descending coronary artery - LAD. if it is blocked by a thrombus - a massive heart attack that may culminate in the patient's death, hence his widow should be concerened

u r rit ttom but the reason is LAD mostly failed in males when heartattack occur they die nd left their wives widow... thats why it is also called widows artery...:-)
