subtract 6 on both sides -4(3x-5)=4 now divide by -4 on both sides 3x-5=-1 now add 5 on both sides 3x=4 now divide by 3 on both sides x=4/3
I found the answer in the book and it says the answer is just 3??
PEMDAS i did the math and it does equal 3...
the answer is not 3 if you check it will fail x=3 then we get 6-4(3*3-5)=6-4(9-5)=6-4(4)=6-16=-10 we do not have -10 on the side so x=3 does not work
my brain hurts....

if you check x=4/3 it will work 6-4(3*4/3-5)=6-4(4-5)=6-4(-1)=6+4=10 we have 10 on both sides x=4/3 is the solution
@naya didn't i do this about 15 minutes ago?
oh, ok ;{
6-4(3*4/3-5)=6-4(4-5)=6-4(-1)=6+4=10 we have 10 on both sides x=4/3 is the solution
