how do you find the area of a triangle in square units?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The area of a triangle is (1/2)*base*height. What do you mean by "in sqaure units"?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Your units would be squared already by multiplying the base times the height. For example if you had a triangle that b= 4inches h=12inches your area would be: (1/2)(4inches)(12inches)= 24 inches squared

Thankyou so much
