there are 8 oz per cup; use dimensional analysis
so i do 96 divded by 8?
I can't believe I forgot that it was 8 instead of 16
it was 12
\[96 \ fl \ oz\ \times \frac{1 c}{8 \ fl \ oz}=12 \ c\]

I was referring to that there are 8 oz in a cup, not 16. I wasn't referring to the 12
