What advice would you give a new student?

I would tell them to try to get involve with activities and try to talk to any one but be care ful some can get you in trouble. And i would probably sit with them at lunch so they don't feel alone.

I would tell them that being new isn't easy.To always work hard and to always push them self to try new things.Have goals that will make them try hard to reach them. That being involved in school activities is good it helps you stay out of trouble. And finally to hangout with people that will help them stay out of trouble and not take them down the wrong path.
