In the zoo car park there were 780 vehicles. Most vehicles were cars but one section contained coaches only. The ratio of cars to coaches was 11:2. how many vehicles were cars and how many were coaches?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

780 / total number of vehicles aka 13 = 60. Then multiply 60 to each ratio, 11 and then 2. Giving you 120 coaches and 660 cars
