Exponential to Logarithmic form

OpenStudy (anonymous):

9 ^1/2 =3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the form b^y=x becomes log_{b}_(x)=y

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sorry, computer hella laggy...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if y = 10 ^x then x = log to base 10 of y

OpenStudy (anonymous):

also, 9^(1/2) = sqrt(9) any number to the power (1/2) is the same as square root of the number

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I need to change 9^(1/2) =3 into Logarithmic form, so would it be \[\log_9{3}= 1/2 \]

OpenStudy (anonymous):
