Need good answers to this Angular momentum and collisions problems so that i can compare my solutions to yours. A weight of 4.00 kg is dropped from a height of 11.0 m and hits the end of a uniform bar which can rotate around an axis through its center (no friction). The weight sticks at the bar after the collision. The bar has a mass of 7.00 kg and is 5.50 m long. At the other end of the bar sits a ball of 3.00 kg but not attached to the bar. How high will the ball go after the collision?

99/49 meters.I calculated the angular velocity of the combined system of the rod along with 2 balls at the instant of striking by applying conservation of angular momentum and got the vertical velocity attained by the 3Kg ball. Tell me if it is incorrect.
