Write an equation of the line containing the specified point and parallel to the indicated line. (−3, 6), y = 7 can anyone help me with this?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y = 7 has a slope of 0. Therefore this new line must also have a slope of 0 in order to be parallel. If slope is 0, it must be a horizontal line that goes through 6. Therefore the equation should be y = 6.
