OpenStudy (anonymous):

If the volume of a cylinder is reduced from 8.0 liters to 4.0 liters, the pressure of the gas in the cylinder will change from 70 kilopascals to what?

OpenStudy (trancenova):

(I'm not sure if there is a law for this) logically if you halve the amount of space you will double the amount of pressure so from 70kilopascals to 140kilopascals.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boyle's_law yes it will double as long as temperature ( and the mass ) remains the same, to 140 kilopascals

OpenStudy (anonymous):

140kPa

I actually had guessed that in the end but thanks a mil guys :)
