The gradient of a road is its slope expressed as a percent. what is the slope of a road with a 7% gradient? Please show all steps and explain reasoning

OpenStudy (anonymous):

7% = .07 yes? :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but how do I solve it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The slope is .07. There's nothing to solve. If there is 7% gradient, that means say, for every 100 feet, the road slopes up 7 feet.

oh thanks
