I slipped away from the world as the sedative induced my eternal slumber. My dreams would haunt me for ever. The reality that my conscience would be my purgatory is a hypocrisy I could not escape. All the pain and suffering I inflicted in the world would soon get justice.

Was this purgatory though? Could it be something else? Could this be hell? Yes, I would now see indictment for my sins. The demons would tear at my flesh as I froze in the torching flames.

The demons were malevolence as they laughed. I could not see them though. My conscience would not escape me. I could see the blood splatter across my dark site. I could feel the cold dead corpse in my hands. I could not believe that I would commit such an act of violence.

I could not be evasive of these thoughts. I would have to endure them for eternity. The coldness of this hell, the burning and tearing of my flesh, and the demons that taunt me. They are nothing compared to these horrible thoughts.

I screamed and begged for them to end my existence. They simply laughed. As I wiped cold sweat from my brawl I felt a hand grasp mine. A voice in the distance whisper "It will be ok." at that moment I stared in the face of a angel. It was my wife. I stirred my strength to say to her "yourrr alive!" She smiled as she replied "Your fever broke."
